Cumbria Economic Intelligence Partnership

The Cumbria Economic Intelligence Partnership (CEIP) is a group of county wide partners who have an interest in  the Cumbrian economy and economic data.  The partnership is made up of the following partners:

  • Cumbria County Council
  • Invest in Cumbria
  • Cumbria Learning and Skills Council
  • Cumbria Vision
  • Lake District National Park Authority
  • Cumbria Tourism
  • Allerdale Borough Council
  • Carlisle City Council
  • Copeland District Council
  • Eden District Council
  • South Lakeland District Council 
  • Business Link North West 

The day-to-day administration of the CEIP is carried out by Cumbria County Council and Invest in Cumbria.

Each partner contributes resources to commission a regular programme of activity. This includes the Economic Assessment of Cumbria; Cumbria Economic Bulletins (jointly with the Centre for Regional Economic Development at the University of Cumbria); Unemployment Briefings; and the Household and Employers Surveys.
