Carlisle City Council produces a range of socio-economic / demographic profiling products for the City Council area.   These include the following:

• Ward Profiles for each ward in Carlisle District including socio-economic information relating to Carlisle's 22 wards and compared to the District, Northwest Region and England.
• A District Profile including socio-economic information relating to Carlisle and compared to the Northwest Region and England.
• A Carlisle Atlas which is an Atlas of socio-economic information in both Carlisle's rural and urban area.
• A Rural Profile of Carlisle including socio-economic informationrelating to Carlisle's rural hinterlandand compared to the District, Northwest Region and England.

Our role within the CRAG is to share best practice and information with other partners who are providing a similar range of products.   This is in order to collaborate our efforts and pool resources to avoid wasteful duplication.  

As we are the only District Council currently represented on the CRAG, Carlisle has taken on a broader role as the key link/contact into the Districts via the group.
