The role of the Alcohol Strategy

Cumbria has never had an agreed partnership based approach to reducing alcohol related harms. The strategy brings together a wide range of activities to help to achieve the overall aim to promote safe, sensible and social drinking in Cumbria.

The strategy forms an overarching framework for actions to reduce alcohol related harm, with detailed implementation plans to follow. The strategy will be delivered in partnership through a range of other organisations.
