
Cumbria Community Strategy
The Cumbria Community Strategy provides the long term vision for the County. The strategy sets out where Cumbria wants to be in 2028 and provides the long term outcomes for partners in the County to work towards both together and in their indivdual organisations through their corporate plans and strategies.
The Cumbria Sub Regional Spatial Strategy
The Cumbria Sub Regional Spatial Strategy provides a long term spatial vision, which expresses those parts of the Community Strategy that relate to the use and development of land. It provides the spatial framework required to support the implementation of the Community Strategy based around three spatial objectives:
Cumbria Local Area Agreement
The Cumbria Local Area Agreement sets out the shared priorities that partners from across the county have agreed to work on over the next 3 years. These are agreed with Central Government and are supported by an agreed Governance Framework which underpins the financial and performance management of the Agreement.
The development and delivery of the LAA is co-ordinated through the CSP an its Thematic Partnerships.
The constitution of the Cumbria Strategic Partnership sets out the way the partnership will engage with partners, stakeholders and regional bodies. It makes clear the objectives of the partnership (an extract below):
