The LAA is the delivery plan for the Sustainable Community Strategy and on this page you can see what our performance measures are.
Performance Information is monitored in Cumbria through the Thematic Partnerships of the CSP and through the Joint Thematic Partnership and LSP Chairs group. Meeting dates and papers for the Joint Chairs Group can be found on the 'CSP meeting and events' page on this website. Below you will find some information on the content of the reports.
- Some of our performance measures are 'mandatory'; the Government has a number of its own priorities that it expects local areas to adopt and these are therefore required in all LAAs.
- Most of our performance measures are 'local' measures - measures that we have chosen to help us improve our performance. We can review and update these every year as part of the annual LAA Refresh process.
- For a small number of our LAA measures we have agreed 'stretch targets'. These targets reflect our key priorities and relate to areas where we want to significantly improve our performance. If we achieve our stretch targets, we will receive a performance reward grant from the Government. These measures and targets cannot be changed during the period of the LAA.
