Cumbria Strategic Partnership

The Joint Chairs Group (JCG) brings together the countywide thematic partnerships who shape delivery according to need and the local strategic partnerships who can influence such activity according to diverse geographic and community needs. The JCG will review performance against the delivery of outcomes, and seek to identify innovative approaches to tackle under performance. In addition it will also serve as a consultive and deliberative body for new and emerging issues regarding partnership working in Cumbria.

LSPs for Allerdale and Copeland are under development. Until these bodies are formed, both Allerdale and Copeland Borough Councils may each nominate an appropriate representative to sit on the Joint Chairs Group on behalf of the local authority and its partner organisations

Officer support and facilitation for the Joint Chairs Group is provided by Cumbria County Council
